~ Can you please share with us a little about
yourself?
I’m an Aussie
girl, who was born in Sydney’s western suburbs. I have four very lovely children
and a husband who is kind enough to put up with my wandering mind when I’m in
‘writing mode’.
I’ve always been an
avid reader, and actually used to get in trouble for spending too much time with
books and not enough time with my family!

~ Please tell us a little about your newest release ?
Too Close – it’s the prequel to a book I
released at the beginning of this year called ‘A Beautiful Struggle’ (which is
free to download). It follows the friendship of David and Katrina, from the
moment they met until A Beautiful Struggle starts.
3~ Would
you like to share an excerpt with us today?
I was so keyed up that I didn’t
even notice the pain of the asphalt road on the bottom of my bare feet. I ran
straight to the one person I always thought of when something was happening in
my life.
I ran to Katrina.
“Oh my god, what’s happened?”
she asked immediately as she opened her window.
I suddenly realised that not
only was I shoeless, but I was shirtless as well, standing outside her bedroom
window in nothing but my boxers.
“My dad,” was all I could say. Her face fell as she quickly undid the fly screen
and helped me climb inside.
“Oh David, your feet!” she
gasped, looking down at them. “Stay there, I’ll be right back.”
I dropped onto her desk chair
with a thud and finally looked at my feet. They were filthy and bleeding from
the glass and jagged road I ran along.
Trina’s phone started singing
and dancing from the vibration behind me on the desk. I picked it up and looked
at the caller ID, noting that it was my house calling. “Mum?” I said into the
handset.
“Oh thank god you’re there. Are
you ok?”
“I’m fine mum. I’ll come home in
the morning,” I told her and ended the call. I wasn’t angry at my mum at all. I
just didn’t want to go back there and talk about what happened with her yet.
Right now, I needed Katrina.
4~ What's in store next for your readers?
Katrina and David will star in one more book.
It will be another novella title ‘Commitment’ which will follow on from the BBQ
scene they feature in during A Beautiful Forever.
5~ What's the weirdest thing you've ever done in the name of
research?
This isn’t
really that weird, but while I was writing ‘Alter’, I was concerned that some of
my internet searches could get flagged as suspicious. Otherwise, I just write
from my head – the weirdest thing you’ll see me do is make the faces that I’m
trying to describe.
6~ What are some of your favorite kinds of stories to
read?
Romance and Chick
lit.
7~ What is something people would be surprised to know about
you?
I used to row for
Australia.
8~ Do
you sing and dance around the house while picking up?
Always.
9~ Describe yourself in three words?
Awesome. Tall.Busy.
10~ What is the most embarrassing thing you got caught
doing?
Picking my nose –
no, that’s a joke, I haven’t been caught doing that…yet. Ummm…. Seriously, I’ve
never been caught doing anything embarrassing. I tend to do stupid things on
purpose, just for a laugh lol.
11~ How did you celebrate the sale of your first
book?
Champagne and junk
food!
12~ What are the scenes that are the hardest for you to
write?
The scenes that
explain a characters pain. They’re really hard and I find myself getting very
emotional over them.
13~ Is there anything
special you would like to say to your readers while we have you here
today?
Just that I think you are all so
amazing. I have no idea what I did to grab your attention, but I’m so glad you
found me, and I’m so glad that so many of you have reached out and let me know
you’re there!
